Restaurant Review: Yah Poh!

In light of my little brother's jetting off to Chile today, my mom and I went to lunch with one of her girlfriends to Yah Poh!  A Chilean Restaurant.  I've been to Yah Poh! before and I really like it!  They may not have the fastest service and it may not be the perfect picture of a restaurant.... I mean there's room for improvement, but the food is GOOD and definitely unique.  There's nothing like it in Logan - that's for sure.

So far I've tried the empanadas (delicious), churrascos and sandwiches, loaded fries, and the salads.  I haven't tried the hot dogs yet - but I want to.  Everything on the menu has been super filling and has had a unique twist to it (eggs and fries on sandwich?  yes, please) and I expect the hot dogs to follow that pattern.

What you can expect at your n ext visit:  Filling food, medium wait, affordable, unique flavors.

Restaurant Review: Jack's Wood Fired Oven

I don't know if anyone else has noticed, but pizza places have been popping up all over Logan lately.  New, delicious pizza places - with the exception of one (in my opinion).  At the top of my list for pizza in the valley is Jack's Wood Fired Oven.

It's located where Henrique's used to be (around 300 N. Main).  Seriously, I have not had pizza this good in Logan ever.  It's super thin crust and no matter how much you eat it's really light on the stomach.  I don't feel like I've even eaten pizza after I finish an entire regular size by myself - that's how light this stuff is.  My favorite is their version of the margarita pizza - I think they call it 'That One Pizza'.  So delicious.  Ntm it's a family-run joint - it's really easy to walk in and feel right at home and connect with Jack's family.  OH!  And it's pretty affordable.  Split a pizza for 2 for around $14.  Worth it.  Do it.  Go there.  Click here to see the menu.
